So Owen broke his arm. After falling at Alex’s house, we took him to Joe Dimaggio’s Children’s Hospital where he was x-rayed. The next day we were sent to see Dr. Storer at the Division of Pediatric Orthopedics, where Owen was casted in bright red. Because its the color of, “Darth Vadar’s light saber.” The experience has been pretty painless. For all of us. Owen has been a tremendous sport and the dr’s over at Memorial have been amazing.
Owen gets his cast off today. After, we’re going straight to the dollar store to buy pool noodles. He can’t wait to go swimming…in our neighbors new pool!
April has been an incredibly busy month for me. Which is definitely a wonderful thing. Just some of the gorgeous kids and families who have come by the studio. I offer “Studio Sessions” in and around downtown Hollywood on Saturdays from 9-2. Being a photographer, it makes birthday gifts for family members pretty easy. Parents, in laws, grandparents all receive photographs of my kids. Both of our mothers’ birthdays are just a few weeks apart. So we got everyone together for a fun family session at the park. The weather was gorgeous, the company fabulous, and yes we’re all wearing matching shirts!
Owen is getting quite good riding his bike. Slow and steady wins the race!
These next two images are my favorite of Stella thus far in her life. Her clothes are wet because she’s determined to drink out of a regular water bottle, only succeeding in spilling it all over herself. She has no shoes on, a pretzel in her mouth, and her finger nails are painted. This is my daughter! She’s fabulous!
